A 53-year-old man has been charged with murder after another man suffered a fatal stabwound to his neck in western Sydney.

Police say the alleged killer will appear in Parramatta Bail court tomorrow to answera charge of murder.

The man's arrest and charging came after police found the 30-year-old victim lyingin a driveway at a Wetherill Park address this afternoon.

Attempts to provide first-aid were unsuccessful.

A Wetherill Park man was arrested at the scene and taken to Fairfield police stationfor questioning.

He was refused bail until his court appearance tomorrow.
